Linkki.

A support chain for Espoo residents who fall through the cracks. Advice, turned into action.

Why Linkki exists

A referral alone is not the solution

Espoo residents facing loneliness, exclusion, language barriers, or complex in-between needs are often bounced from place to place. Even if the right service provider is found, they are rarely helped to get all the way there, if at all.

More often than not, the gap is not the existence of services. It is the distance between the person and the service that needs to be bridged. Linkki is designed to close that distance.

How it works

The process from first contact to meaningful support

Step 01 / 04

Outreach & intake.

Low-threshold pop-ups in accessible community locations: libraries, community spaces, partner venues. No appointment needed. Residents come as they are.

Outreach pop-up with community members

Who it serves

Residents who have been referred too many times

Open to all Espoo residents, with outreach and follow-up prioritising those who face the highest practical barriers to support.

Residents Linkki is built to reach
Loneliness or social isolation
Unemployment-related psychosocial strain
Language barriers in Finnish or Swedish
Newcomers navigating services for the first time
Complex needs that fit no single service category
Anyone referred elsewhere who never reached support
Older people who struggle to keep up with increasingly digitised services

Where we work

Espoo, in the neighbourhoods that need it most

Pilot delivery is underway in selected neighbourhoods, chosen with local partners based on need, accessibility, and venues. Built to be replicated.

Who we work with

Coalition, not duplication

Linkki operates inside Espoo's existing NGO and service ecosystem: shared referral maps, agreed contact points, continuous two-way feedback between partners.
